The micro-card collections in the Reference Department are in the Microform area of the Reference Room and sit atop cabinets 14, 16 and 16.
The SJU library has no means for copying microcards and only one machine which does a poor job of reading the material. This machine is located in the microform area of the Reference Room.
Microcards are similar to microfilm or microfiche in that printed material is tremendously reduced in size and placed on a readable media. In the case of the microcard it is printed on a cardboard stock. The microcard machine works more like an opaque reader than a film projector.
